Videoblogs

Video-Blogs are an extension of audio-blogs in that they allow for you to access information that is streaming in video format. They can be powerpoints that are converted to a movie say an avi file with voice over. Some things are better understood if they are seen and described - such as graphs!

If you have a video presentation you would like to upload just let us know and we will do it for you. Please bear in mind the bandwidth available to our users in lesser developed regions. We recommend that you use a codec such as DivX to decrease the size of the video.

On our resources page we have a list of resources you can access in order to create your presentations. MS Producer for PowerPoint 2003 is one of them.

TrainersPod© will build upon the podcasting and webcasting events with the addition of monthly videocasts. These casts will provide avi or MPEG files that can be viewed on different platforms such as PCs and PDA machines to maximize portability. The aim is to help bring to life some of the people, companies and countries developing new practices and resources. We will also use this strategy to provide training and to support other activities delivered by TrainersPod©.

TrainersPod© supports accessibility and flexibility by providing content and provision in diverse formats to help address different learning styles. We also offer consultancy and support for the integration of these technologies and events into e-learning, e-business and e-healthcare provision.

Videocasts will also be accompanied by opportunities for discussion about the content and the development of such materials. We will also support the sharing of your video content where appropriate to the topics of interest to our community.
